What we need from you if you are submitting scans;

Please scan at the highest resolution possible. Most formats will be accepted: JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG, etc. We will resize each image to a maximum dimension of 1200x1200 pixels, watermark it and save in a JPEG format before loading it up to Hamtramck-Historical.com. For any submissions where the total size of all images together is over 10Mb, we would prefer that they be burned onto a Flash Drive, DVD or CD and mailed to us. Email is OK for submissions under 10Mb.

Before you take the time to scan items in your collection, PLEASE ask us about it. New items are coming in all the time from various sources. If an item is already in the works, we will let you know. It would be a shame if two people took the time to scan the same item for us. Your time and efforts should not be wasted, so please ask first?
