These coding guides were sent out by Chrysler to let the salesmen at the dealerships know what was available. If a question came up on which stripe color was recommended with a certain paint & interior trim combination as one example, this is the book the salesman would have referred to. Looking back decades later, these are not 'complete' lists of options since there were options & other models introduced throughout the model year.
