January 2020

No items were claimed in December but yet another broadcast sheet came in for a Challenger T/A, so it is now our first IOTM for 2020!

This one was found inside a bucket seat back as so many are, the VIN on it is JH23J0B307308

This car has not been registered before, but it had been reported by a registry member that knew the owner, thanks Ricky!

When I contacted Ricky with the news, he contacted his pal & the car had been sold, so it evidently moved from Alabama to Michigan.

Does anyone know the current owner?

As always, proof of legal ownership & proof the car still exists will be required to claim it.

Thanks for sending it in Paul!

March 2020

No items were claimed in February.

Another broadcast sheet was just sent in though, it is for a 1970 Challenger T/A, the VIN on it is JH23J0B282565.

It was found in a Challenger T/A that was a new one to me, so as of this writing we have 1,553 Challenger T/As recorded in the registry.

This one was also found inside a bucket seat back as so many are, thankfully he also found a sheet that matched his car. It is cool to see that the VINs on the sheets are over 2,900 apart, the scheduled production dates are 4 days apart & yet the cars were only 6 builds apart on the assembly line.

Thanks for sending it in Michael!

As always, proof of legal ownership & proof the car still exists will be required to claim it.

For April, we have another broadcast sheet for a 1970 Challenger T/A, the VIN on it is JH23J0B304231

I found it in a Challenger T/A that the owner let me search back in 2006. It was found inside a bucket seat back like so many are.

Thanks for letting me search your car Ben!

May 2020

For May, we have another broadcast sheet for a 1970 Challenger. This one is for a 318 car in a very cool combination. Its VIN is JH23G0B256933

It was found inside a bucket seat of Challenger R/T with a 440-6 by a local restorer and was hand delivered to the house in an AAR Cuda.

Dennis and Jeff, thank you!

As always, proof of legal ownership & proof the car still exists will be required to claim it.

June 2020

Another broadcast sheet was claimed in May!

Justin had also found this broadcast sheet in his car, so he sent it in. It is for an early Challenger in a very cool combination. This sheet has mouse damage, but the full VIN would be JH23C0B100722.

Thanks for sending it in Justin!

As always, proof of legal ownership & proof the car still exists will be required to claim it.

For those attending Carlisle this month for the 50 Year Reunion of the AARs and T/As, we hope to see you soon!

At the 45 Year Reunion 5 years ago, Doug handed in a broadcast sheet he found in his T/A for a Challenger with a 318. The VIN on this sheet is JH23G0B299155

August 2020

No items were claimed in July.

For those that were able to attend Carlisle, it was great to see you!

While at Carlisle, I was very happy to see a stunning 1970 Coronet 9 passenger station wagon.

I enjoyed talking with the owner & I noticed that he had found a matching broadcast sheet for it.

He was not aware there could be others though, so he allowed me to take a quick look.

I spotted another one under the front bench seat in the springs, so working together we were able to very carefully remove it.

We compared the VIN on it to his car, and this sheet did not match. The VINs were very close, both cars were ordered for the Sales Bank and both cars were identical, option for option. Very cool to see!

The VIN on this sheet is WH46G0G194999

Thanks for the tour of your car Ken!

As always, proof of legal ownership & proof the car still exists will be required to claim it.

No items were claimed in August.

For our current IOTM, we have another broadcast sheet. This one is for a 1969 Plymouth GTX convertible, the VIN is RS27L9G215250

This one was found in a 1969 Road Runner convertible so it is very possible that the two cars were very close on the assembly line.

Thanks for sending it in Joseph!

This one was found years ago inside a front seat back as so many are.

December 2020

Another item was claimed in November and another registry member was able to get his numbers matching transmission back for his car!

For our current IOTM, we have two broadcast sheets that came in at different times. These are for a 1970 Challenger R/T, the VIN is JS23N0B357284

As always, proof of legal ownership & proof the car still exists will be required to claim it.
